We have a 1997 Ford F350 truck with a service body on it. It used to be a bread hauler.
The reverse lights worked when the service body was installed, and we wired in a backup alarm, and they worked then too, but now nothing works, just the tail lights. No reverse lights or the alarm.
We just replaced the switch on the side of the transmission, and no luck. Checked all the fuses in the box on the left hand side of the dash, no luck. The lights are not getting power. What can we do?

take a 12 volt test light or a volt meeter. Start at the light sockets and work back towards the power source and see where the power failure is at. It also might be as simple as a lost or disconnected ground wire. Are the bulbs good?
