It is a truck not a race car. The parts are heavy and not designed to be spun that fast. Driveshaft speeds are really high with the low gears that truck has and it will not handle it forever. Just get a car if thats what you want.

trucks are not made for speed, they are made for utility.

The speedometer registers to 85 MPH (There’s a hash mash after the 80 MPH mark). This truck should be able to do around 90-100 MPH. The speedometers in cars rarely reflect their true performance. For example the speedometer in a 1974 Triumph goes to 140 MPH, however it’s max speed is about 119 MPH (redline limited). Likewise a speedometer on a 1985 Mustang GT only goes to 85 MPH, but in actuality the car is capable of speeds around 135 MPH.
