It could be one of the sensors.Oxygen,air flow,throttle position,ect…
you didn’t say if you had fuel injection or carburetor, if its injected you might be having a computer problem shutting of the signal to the injector, have the pick up scanned, might lead you to the problem, might just be a simple sensor
Check fuel pump relay.
Do you have a bleeder on the fuel line to check for fuel and pressure? I’ve seen that happen before when there was an air bubble in the line after pump replacement. Fuel pick up? Not sure, just a couple thoughts.
