I have a 1999 Ford F350 that will not start. Every time I closed my door the truck would rev up. Need Help!?

The wait to start light on the dash is not coming on and the electric fuel pump is not pushing fuel through. I have changed the fuel filter and I am in the process of changing the fuel pump. Anybody that has had this problem happen please help.

Not much to go on, but I am assuming that it is a 7.0 diesel. The door closing changing idle and the igniter light not coming on indicate an electrical problem. I would stop wasting money replacing fuel system parts until the truck is properly diagnosed. Diesels are unique beasts. Find someone who can troubleshoot the problem locally.

Sounds like you may have a “Haunting” who owned it before you did?

check your wire to the electronic throttle and ground. Ford truck owner and mechanic. Sounds like it might be a loose ground.
