It already has a small lift on it, I think 2-4″. It has the 4.0 liter in-line 6 engine and an automatic transmission. Everything except for the lift and wheels are stock. I am also planning on installing a snorkel for the air intake. This is going to be a slow, lifetime type of process and I eventually want to drop a more powerful engine into it. Any help you can offer me with tires, wheels, suspension, axles, transmission, gearing, etc. would help immensely.

What is the best flowmaster muffler to put on my 97 grand cherokee 4.0L with all stock parts?

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 4.0L. The muffler might have a hole in it and if i replace it i’d like to have something sounding a little better. there are lots of flowmaster mufflers out there that i have looked at but i just don’t want it to sound like crap. i want a quality sound and not look like a jackass driving around with a crappy sounding car. any suggestions or ideas PLEASE let me know!

I was recdently laid off and LUCKILY found another job. Only problem is that I am making 1/3 less and need to lower my monthly car payments (currently around $450). I was looking at buying a used Jeep (looking for something sporty/suv”ish”) but wondered if I should look into the deals currently offered by Ford, GM and Mercury. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Best Battery for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited?

I just purchased a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The battery that came with it seems under powered for the vehicle (lots of power accessories). It will start the Jeep, but barely. What kind of Cranking amps should I be looking at for a new battery. Price does not seem to reflect the amps in anything I have looked at.

I need to find a place to buy some aftermarket parts for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee (I don’t want to pay dealer price for new factory parts) and I was wondering where would be the best place to go?

In particular, I need a new headlight and a window regulator for a passenger door. I really need them to look as close to factory as possible (particularly the headlight). Anyone have suggestions?
