Need a new computer in my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo does the key have a chip that needs to match?
My mechanic said i needed a new computer but he said that there is a chip in the key that needs to match the computer or it wont run for more than a few seconds. Is this true? Or is he full of it? This will make it hard to get from a junkyard the key and the computer. Im not paying 800 for one from the dealer.

I am looking for OEM or After Market parts for a 1963 Piper Cherokee 180…. Specifically, I am looking for the “outside air vent knobs” – in grey, black or at this point, who cares!
These knobs rotate back and forth to open an outside vent to allow fresh air to blow into the cabin.

Need new remote for Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Hey everyone my sister just gave me her (‘95?) Jeep Grand Cherokee while she is going away to college. She is taking the main key and remote with her and gave me the valet key. Is there any way I can buy another remote and how much do you think it will cost?
I beleive she is taking the main key because I imagine she wants to be able to come home during vacations and stuff to take the car. How limited am I going to be with just the valet key?
What exactly do you need to lift a Jeep Cherokee 3″?
I am looking on ebay just at a cheap suspension lift 3″. What exactly do I need? Just that and the extended pitman arm?

What parts do I need, to install an aftermarket stereo on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee? ?
I am having problems with my factory stereo on a 2005 Grand Cherokee. Its a navigation stereo with 6cds. it is also connected to a dvd in the back. I want to change the stereo to an aftermarket. I need to know exactly what adapters i need to buy make the switch. I want to be able to use all the features i have now but in the new stereo. I bought a Pioneer Avic-Z2 double-din.
